About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Plan and prepare menus, estimate food requirements, and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain inventory records, and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that all health and safety standards are met, and that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standards.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure that all customers have a positive experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a team environment.
