About the Role:
Enerflex is seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our team as Journeyman/3rd/4th Year Apprentices. As a Pipefitter, you will play a critical role in the installation and maintenance of process piping systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair process piping systems, including small bore threaded and socket weld fabrication.
- Read and interpret P&ID drawings and project specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
- Follow company work instructions and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use hydraulic torque wrenches (Hytorc) and other specialized tools to complete tasks.
- Guide and mentor apprentices when required, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
- Supply own basic hand tools and maintain a high level of personal safety and hygiene.
Requirements:
- Valid Alberta Journeyman Pipefitting Certificate or equivalent.
- Registered 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Pipefitter with an active Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) Apprentice status.
- Current certification in WHMIS, Fall Protection (FP), Aerial Work Platform (AWP), Overhead Crane Training, and 1st Aid.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of teamwork and collaboration.
- Dependable, reliable, and with a strong attendance record.
