About the Role:

Enerflex is seeking a skilled Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team in Southeast Calgary. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for installing process pipes, fabricating small bore threaded and socket weld components, and working collaboratively with a team to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret P&ID drawings and project specifications to ensure accurate installation and fabrication.
  • Follow company work instructions and safety protocols to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Utilize hydraulic torque wrenches (Hytorc) and other specialized tools to perform tasks.
  • Guide and mentor apprentices when required, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
  • Supply own basic hand tools and maintain a high level of personal safety and hygiene.

Requirements:

  • Valid Alberta Journeyman Pipefitting Certificate, with Interprovincial red seal endorsement considered an asset.
  • Registered 3rd or 4th year Apprentice Pipefitter with active Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) Apprentice status.
  • Current certification in WHMIS, Fall Protection (FP), Aerial Work Platform (AWP), Overhead Crane Training, and 1st Aid.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven attendance record.
