  • HR Support: Assist the HR department in ensuring they meet the organization's goals, including coordinating activities and providing support as needed.
  • Team Support: Coordinate the flow of information within the team, ensuring everyone is informed and up-to-date.
  • Training: Train staff on new policies and procedures, as well as provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures, ensuring they are followed by all staff.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and resolving issues.
  • Information Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Correspondence: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, ensuring they are accurate and professional.
  • Marketing Support: Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field.
  • Recruitment: Recruit and hire workers, as well as carry out related staffing actions.
  • Workplace Health and Safety: Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
  • Supervision: Supervise office and volunteer staff, ensuring they are performing their duties to the best of their ability.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, and supports them with foreign credential recognition and mentorship programs.
  • Support for Youth: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth and provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Veterans: Offers workshops, counselling services, or other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition into the civilian workforce.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Offers phased retirement options that allow mature workers to gradually reduce their workload, as well as phased re-entry options for mature workers who are returning to work after retiring.
