The Procurement Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the daily operations related to the procurement of truck parts, evaluating purchasing decisions, processing orders, and reviewing vendor contracts while also assisting in the acquisition of materials and supplies from various suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase requisitions for truck parts and negotiate a wide array of contracts.
  • Take full ownership of the procurement process from start to finish for assigned vendors and parts.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ascertain sourcing requirements and work with suppliers and accounts payable to address return merchandise authorizations and invoice discrepancies.
  • Serve as a liaison between relevant departments regarding purchasing procedures and new initiatives.
  • Partner with the Sales team to secure products for significant quotations.
  • Process requisitions and maintain inventory levels to ensure stock is adequate.
  • Report and communicate weekly price fluctuations.
  • Oversee inventory management and assist in the receipt of purchased goods and services.
  • Monitor and relay information related to shipping, delivery, delays, and order statuses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues, product count discrepancies, stock losses, quality control, and packing documentation.
  • Undertake additional tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Business or Information Technology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement is preferred, with direct involvement in contract evaluation and renewal, as well as the procure-to-pay cycle.
  • Proficient in negotiating rates and services.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to handle high-pressure situations with composure.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
  • Results-oriented, with a commitment to meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Self-motivated with sound judgment and the ability to manage upwards when necessary.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word), with a quick adaptability to new software.
