Supply Chain Coordinator

Are you an inventory specialist with expertise in demand planning?
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for the procurement and delivery of designated Suppliers' products in support of the company's business goals. This includes overseeing Purchase Orders, Transportation, Customs clearance and Receiving while ensuring that procedural and regulatory requirements are met. You will provide support for Suppliers and associated Product Managers, and act as the liaison between Suppliers and other company departments to ensure that the level of service provided to customers meets or exceeds expectations. The specialist is responsible for ERP system data entry to create documents and to update and communicate the information needed by the various internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with suppliers in order to ensure an exceptional supplier experience.
- Generate and review the replenishment IDs in Overdrive to determine stock requirements.
- Enter Purchase Orders in the company's ERP system and send to Suppliers.
- Follow-up on credit-hold or profit-hold issues that may delay the purchase of a needed product.
- Interact with preferred carriers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of incoming stock using the most cost effective mode of transport.
- Provide Arrival Notices and other documentation and information to the various warehouses as needed to ensure prompt receipt of incoming stock.
- Accurately enter Inventory Receipts into the ERP system as per company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• College diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3 to 5 years previous work experience in a customer service, purchasing or inventory management position.
• Experience working with transportation/customs.
