Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Generalist

Job Summary:
Belcan Inc. is seeking an experienced EHS Generalist to provide strategic planning and implementation of health and safety procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing internal EHS training content, inspecting and auditing facilities, and leading safety committees to reduce injuries and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement EHS procedures, reports, and training as required by local, provincial, and federal regulations
• Create and manage internal EHS training content and external training coordination
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
• Lead and support EHS safety committees to achieve injury reduction and company initiatives
• Collaborate with the Central EHS group to standardize procedures and processes across the enterprise
• Partner with business unit supervisors and leadership to identify and mitigate industrial risks

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environment Health and Safety or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Flexibility to work on all shifts and provide on-site support for office and shop floor employees
• Results-driven and detail-oriented
