About DASCH:

DASCH is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing residential, day program, respite, and foster care services to youth and adults. Our programs are based in Winnipeg, and we offer a range of services to support individuals with diverse needs.

Job Summary:

We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to work weekend shifts in various locations in Winnipeg. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide care and support to individuals in their homes and in the community, promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical, emotional, and social support to individuals in a respectful and caring manner.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Transport individuals to and from activities and home in a safe and careful manner.
  • Contribute to a warm and comfortable home environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Canadian Grade 10 Education or equivalent.
  • Full or Intermediate Class 5 Manitoba Driver's License.
  • Smart device with internet access for communication.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
