Job Summary

The Support Worker - Bilingual will provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injury in a community-based setting. This role requires a high level of empathy, communication skills, and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with varying levels of ability
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals with meal planning, preparation, and cooking
  • Encourage socialization and community participation
  • Assist with medication administration and medical appointments
  • Perform light housekeeping and maintenance tasks
  • Document progress and provide feedback to team members
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and driver's abstract
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
