Sport Medicine Physician Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time Sport Medicine Physician to join our team at the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine. As a Sport Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for the treatment of acute and chronic pain arising from injury, including sport, work-related, motor-vehicle accident, and slip-and-fall injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to patients with acute and chronic pain
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to manage pain and improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and examinations to diagnose and treat patients
  • Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary

Requirements:

  • Be licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
  • Have experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills
