About the Role

Axiom Technologies, a leading global IT services partner, is seeking a skilled IT On-Site Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide on-site assistance to end-users within our client's desktop computing environment, ensuring optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot computer OS and peripherals, handle different PC operating systems (Windows 7/8 and 10), and perform hardware and software installations.
  • IT Skills and Experience: Possess good knowledge of SOE and group policies, printer support, MS Office tools installation and troubleshooting, and advanced technical abilities including solid troubleshooting skills applicable to Windows, Apple, and virtual operating systems.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and people skills, with the ability to manage time and resources to meet or exceed expectations in high-profile situations while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: At least one of the following: PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area, or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification.
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, with experience in an array of different IT projects/work cases.
  • Travel and Work Arrangement: Ready to travel 10-20 miles as per the requirement, with a flexible work arrangement (rostering system).
