Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at YMM Restaurant Supplies. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Communication: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management to track inventory levels, shipping and receiving activities, and other key performance indicators.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies to ensure a high level of job knowledge and performance.
  • Work Assignment and Review: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Operational Planning: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Logistics and Operations: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
Personal Suitability
  • Organizational Skills: The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position with a regular full-time schedule.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Hours of Work: The regular hours of work are 35 hours per week.
