Role Summary:
Under the supervision of the Lead Medical Technologist or their delegate, the MRI Technologist will conduct diagnostic MRI imaging in line with established protocols within the MRI Services department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure a safe working environment adhering to professional standards and provincial regulations.
2. Comply with quality assurance initiatives and maintain the standards set by relevant accreditation bodies.
3. Perform MRI scans while upholding the Mission and Values of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, along with current policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Graduated from an accredited MRI training program.
- Successfully completed the registration examinations with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
- Eligibility for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
- Exceptional manual dexterity to operate diagnostic equipment as per approved practices.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French may be required.
