We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Attendant, Special Care Facility to join our team at 1716619 ONTARIO INC.

Job Summary:

The Attendant, Special Care Facility will provide high-quality care and support to patients in a rehabilitation centre and special health institution setting. This role requires a strong focus on client care, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meal trays to patients
  • Transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers
  • Maintain patients' rooms and ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide support as needed
Work Environment:

The Attendant, Special Care Facility will work in a fast-paced rehabilitation centre and special health institution setting. This role requires the ability to work under pressure, manage repetitive tasks, and maintain a high level of physical fitness.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage repetitive tasks
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift patients as needed
