About the Role:
GardaWorld Cash is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Cash Transport Driver to join our team in Saint John, NB. As a key member of our secure transportation team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of our customers' valuables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pickups and deliveries of valuables safely and efficiently for each client
- Reload or perform minor repairs on Automated Banking Machines (ABMs) from various financial institutions
- Ensure a safe environment for colleagues and customers
- Follow established routes and schedules closely
- Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
- Load and unload the armored vehicle
- Complete daily reports and paperwork
- Respect procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld
- Carry a firearm during the performance of duties
Requirements:
- Possess a restricted and non-restricted Federal Firearms License (PAL, Possession and Acquisition License)
- Hold a valid driver's license (class 5 minimum) with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
- Be capable of lifting loads up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Be available to work variable shifts (weekends, nights, etc.)
- Be reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
- Be customer service oriented and skilled in managing stressful situations
- Be highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
- Be eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of coping with pressure and tight timelines
