About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team at Tbwa Chiat/Day Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure). This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in cloud service mastery and software engineering to drive the design, deployment, and monitoring of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure cloud-based platforms to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our infrastructure.
  • Develop dependable internal tools to aid our machine learning and software engineers in their work, including infrastructure deployment, continuous integration, and testing.
  • Maintain and configure internal development and access control systems to ensure seamless collaboration and data security.
  • Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to identify strategic long-term projects and anticipate infrastructure needs in advance.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience in a company/production setting.
  • Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and systems design.
  • Experience with building, controlling, and monitoring secure cloud-based platforms.
  • Ability to define, defend, and drive technical infrastructure decisions and initiatives.
  • Basic operational familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ability to help pick and implement the right tool for a given job.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in Python.
  • Interest in machine learning and/or healthcare.
