About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Life Safety Systems Integrated System Testing Coordinator to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario. As a key member of our Engineering Services Department, you will be responsible for leading integrated fire and life safety systems testing services, developing test plans and testing reports, and ensuring all completed work conforms to contract requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated fire and life safety systems testing plans and procedures.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to observe tests and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and trades to plan and execute project tasks.
  • Develop and support offers specifically for life safety integrated system testing.
  • Prepare and submit testing reports and other documentation as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, College Diploma in Architectural Technology or Engineering Technology or Technician.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in fire protection, with experience with CAN/ULC-S1001 testing an asset.
  • UL Solutions S1001 certificate or Professional Engineer (P.Eng) License.
  • Ability to cross over multi-disciplinary projects and good understanding of fire protection engineering concepts and methods.
