At Community Therapists, we are committed to providing exceptional occupational therapy services to our clients. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Vernon and surrounding areas.

About the Role

This is a part-time position that involves working with a diverse group of funders to assist clients with a range of limitations. You will use your exceptional communication, clinical, and organizational skills to deliver outcomes that change people's lives. Your duties will include functional assessments, job site visits, and development of graduated activity and/or graduated return to work plans. You will also liaise with the client's healthcare team and payer representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional assessments and job site visits to identify client needs and develop personalized plans
  • Develop and implement graduated activity and/or graduated return to work plans to help clients achieve their goals
  • Liaise with the client's healthcare team and payer representative to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Use your exceptional communication and clinical skills to deliver outcomes that change people's lives
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work with a diverse range of clients
  • Reliable vehicle for clinical appointments
  • Experience working with agency payers is an asset
  • Commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses
  • Current member of COTBC or eligible for registration
