About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Softchoice. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading IT infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and maintain project documentation, including charters, risk logs, project plans, and more
    • Organize project requirement sessions
    • Track and report project budgets
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead project teams in delivering IT infrastructure projects
    • Facilitate team meetings and work sessions
    • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to leadership
  • Client Management
    • Represent Softchoice as a key player in delivering Professional Services projects
    • Ensure the delivery of quality services to customers and manage risk mitigation and issue resolution
  • Process Improvement
    • Develop and present reports to project teams and clients
    • Facilitate Lessons Learned sessions to offer valuable feedback to delivery and presales teams
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 5+ years of related work experience in professional services or consulting
    • 3+ years of formal Project Management experience
    • PMI PMP Certification
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Experience with Microsoft, Cisco, and datacenter implementation
    • Experience in leading cross-functional projects with formalized methodologies
    • Post Secondary education (preferred)
