About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at ESP Construction. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings, structures, and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail
Work Environment

As a Carpenter at ESP Construction, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with various locations, including renovation sites, commercial and residential properties. You will be required to travel regularly and work independently, with occasional supervision.
