About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Body Shop Supervisor to join our team at Isherwood Body and Fender Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our body shop and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our body shop team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve productivity and efficiency within the body shop.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of all body shop activities, including inventory and equipment.
  • Training and Development
    • Train and develop the skills of our body shop team members, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and expertise to perform their roles effectively.
    • Identify and address any training needs within the team, working closely with management to develop and implement training programs.
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, in consultation with management.
    • Manage and maintain positive relationships with all team members, promoting a culture of respect and open communication.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures, with the ability to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Work Environment
    • 35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as required.
    • Permanent position, with opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
Language

English is the primary language of communication in this role, with occasional French language requirements.
