SUMMARY

The ANSYS Electronics Circuit-UI group is dedicated to creating innovative graphical user interfaces and design automation processes that enhance our leading electromagnetic field solvers.

We integrate advanced software technologies across multiple disciplines, including 3D visualization and computational geometry, and are looking for a candidate who shares our enthusiasm for advancing simulation capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in user interface design and implementation for desktop applications and will excel in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Engage in software development tasks, including research, design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation.
  • Adopt best practices in software development.
  • Analyze issues identified by QA or product support and devise effective solutions. Conduct bug verification and release testing.
  • Comprehend product requirements, including target environment, performance standards, and competitive landscape.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or a Bachelor's degree with three years of relevant professional experience.

Proficient software development experience in C++ or a related programming language.

Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with computational geometry and computer graphics.
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic, circuit, or system simulation.
  • Experience with electronic design automation systems and methodologies.
  • Background in developing and debugging user interface code on Windows and/or Linux platforms.
