Job Summary

Nuvation Engineering, a leading Engineering Design Services company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electronic systems, leading a small team of engineers, and collaborating with clients to deliver high-quality projects.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, and system integration.
  • Lead a small team of engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, block diagrams, and system architecture reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our design processes and deliver high-quality results.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in electronics and embedded systems hardware design, including analog and digital PCB design, high-speed digital design, and ADC/DAC system design.
  • Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI fundamentals and experience with design for manufacturability and design for EMC compliance.
  • Experience with high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analyzers, spectrum, and/or network analyzers.
  • Proficiency with one or more of the following tools for schematic entry and PCB layout: Altium Designer, OrCAD, or alternate tool.
  • Excellent technical documentation skills and ability to create clear, concise design specifications, block diagrams, and system architecture reports.
  • University degree or College Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership capability and desire to mentor others.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous nature.
