About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Project Specialist to join our team at DSV. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing logistics projects with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, verify, and monitor all project-related documentation and enter information into CW1 in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist suppliers in completing export formalities such as AES, B13, as needed and in accordance with established company directives.
  • Track and monitor air, sea, and land shipments online and provide timely updates to overseas partners and stakeholders, and update systems accordingly.
  • Prepare SOPs and follow up with overseas clients regarding compliance with IRC regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and ensure proper tracking of shipments.
  • Ensure compliance and proper management of shipment status and documentation throughout the entire shipment cycle (from reservation to final delivery).
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with overseas partners, clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to all incoming communications (clients and other national and overseas business partners).
  • Accurate and timely billing in accordance with established standards.
  • Provide assistance as needed to improve products and services.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor from time to time.

  • Perform assigned tasks to ensure DSV achieves its quality, health, safety, and environmental objectives and complies with all requirements as stated in the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Policy.

Qualifications:

  • Studies in logistics, supply chain management, international transportation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the industry.
  • Experience with all modes of transportation (air, sea, land) and knowledge of oversized shipment handling.
  • CIFFA certification, an asset.
  • Project experience, an asset.
  • Dangerous Goods certification, an asset.

  • Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a workstation working on a computer.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Regular working hours apply to this position; occasionally working beyond these hours may be necessary based on operational needs.
