Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Life Time. As a key member of our Operations department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our club, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of up to 40 staff members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring labor costs are within budgetary guidelines.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair projects, collaborating with various departments to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure all areas of the club, including locker rooms, fitness floors, and common areas, are clean and well-maintained at all times.
  • Complete payroll and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience, with a background in building operations.
  • CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire; Certified Pool Operator license (CPO) within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods.

Preferred Requirements

  • Health and Fitness operations experience.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office.
  • Background in the military is beneficial.
