Job Summary

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Math Instructor to join our team. As a Senior Math Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and support to students in grades 11-12, focusing on advanced math concepts such as calculus, data management, and algebra.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective math lessons to students in grades 11-12
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual student needs and learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement math programs and curriculum
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in math education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Teaching certification or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Ontario math curriculum, particularly senior math and including advanced functions, algebra, trigonometry, and calculus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
