Procurement Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at PDO Solutions Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase equipment, materials, and services in accordance with established specifications and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Assess requirements of the organization to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Consult with suppliers to determine the best options for meeting the organization's needs.
  • Review quotations and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for the organization.
  • Establish and maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and payments.
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
