Job Description

As a member of the healthcare team, the Licensed Practical Nurse will promote health and healing, and provide education to achieve optimum care for clients/patients/residents in all phases of healthcare.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Conduct health assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote patient health and well-being
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services
  • Provide education to patients, families, and healthcare teams on health promotion, disease prevention, and management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services

**Requirements:**

  • Practical Nursing diploma
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of SK (CLPNS)
  • Valid driver's license, where required
