Job Summary

Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Healthline 811 team. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to the residents of Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients through telephone triage and assessment.
  • Work collaboratively with Social Workers and Psychiatric Registered Nurses to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and provide empathetic support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest healthcare trends and best practices to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment that fosters open communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Recent acute care experience.
  • 5 years clinical experience using high levels of independent assessment skills.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree.
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable.
  • Strong computer skills and typing speed of 25 wpm.
  • Effective listening, assessment, and communication skills.
