Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence.

Requirements:

  • Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Completion of Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Program.
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba, and Code of Ethics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
