About the Job

We are seeking a Labourer to join our team at our Ready-Mix Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for general laborer duties, including shoveling, raking, and handling small tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general laborer duties associated with a concrete Ready-Mix Plant.
  • Shovel, rake, and handle other small tools as required.
  • Operate equipment as needed.
  • Yard, Plant & Equipment cleanup as needed.
  • May be called upon to run small power tools.
  • Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
  • Follow instructions from your supervisor or manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent preferred or ability to arrive at work on time.
  • Physically able to work general labor.

Working Conditions

  • Overtime as required.
  • Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat, and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
  • Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry 50 LBS as needed.
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
  • Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
