About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Cangroup Landscaping Inc. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks related to lawn care and gardening.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly anchored and secure
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns to a high standard
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools
  • Remove trees and other vegetation as required
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to achieve our goals.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required
  • Physical ability to perform manual labour in a fast-paced outdoor environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
