Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our food service operations.
- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are trained in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Train Staff: Provide on-the-job training to staff members, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
- Culinary Knowledge: Possess knowledge of various culinary genres, enabling us to offer a diverse range of menu options to our customers.
- Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules for staff members, ensuring that they are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising 1-2 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
Transportation/Travel Information:Public transportation is available for staff members, making it easy to get to and from work.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work under pressure, standing for extended periods, and lifting heavy objects.
Personal Suitability:We are looking for a team player who is client-focused, able to work under pressure, and possess excellent communication skills.
