As a Senior Audit Group Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing a team of audit professionals to oversee, plan, and execute intricate audits and projects across various business units.
  • Offering strategic insights and facilitating critical audit discussions with executive leadership.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to ensure that operational outcomes and personal development goals are met for the entire group.
  • Acting as the principal audit advisor by delivering insights on emerging trends and challenges to senior management to drive meaningful enhancements.
  • Identifying, mitigating, and reporting on risk-related issues in accordance with established guidelines and ensuring proper escalation procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensuring that the devised strategy aligns with the overall audit strategy and is implemented effectively.
  • Formulating the annual divisional plan for the risk assessment process while leading audit engagement activities.
  • Overseeing all initiatives by providing recommendations and decision-making support to leadership.
  • Serving as a strategic advisor to management regarding portfolio and financial management.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to prioritize portfolios based on projected initiatives and demand.
  • Leading the team in the development and cohesive implementation of policies, processes, and procedures across multiple audit domains.
  • Providing leadership in people management by overseeing the execution and completion of performance management tasks.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where team members feel comfortable sharing their challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional certifications.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of AML/Sanctions program requirements.
  • Proficient in analyzing external competition, industry standards, and market trends related to the functional area.
  • Exemplary in handling confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Skilled in MS Office, analytical tools, and online applications.
  • Adept negotiator and decision-maker capable of influencing business leaders.
