Canadian French Translators, Writers & Editors with a background in Gambling-related content for several upcoming large-scale projects.
Your Responsibilities:
You will be tasked with writing, translating (from English to Canadian French), or editing content in French (CA) that pertains to themes such as Casino & Sports Betting. As an editor, your role will involve reviewing task briefings (for writing assignments) and ensuring the text is coherent by evaluating clarity, style, and citations, while also correcting any grammatical, punctuation, spelling, and formatting errors. For translation assignments, you will be expected to compare the translated text with the original document and verify the quality of the translated material. You will collaborate with a project manager who will provide guidelines and support throughout the process.
Key Qualifications:
- Native proficiency in Canadian French;
- Experience in translating, writing, or editing content related to Gambling (Games & Reviews) or Sports Betting, with relevant samples or portfolio specific to this market;
- Exceptional writing abilities with a zero-tolerance policy for errors or subpar quality;
- Commitment to meeting deadlines, which are critical for all projects;
- Ability to work in an organized and methodical manner while adhering to instructions;
