Job Summary:

The Construction Laborer will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons with various tasks on construction sites, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist skilled tradespersons with various tasks
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools
  • Remove rubble and debris from construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines and equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in various weather conditions
  • Reliability and flexibility to work overtime as needed
