About the Role

Ludhiana Boutique Ltd. is seeking a skilled Garment Patternmaker to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality garment patterns and designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pattern Creation: Draw, lay out, and cut master patterns of products, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Pattern Variations: Create pattern size variations from master patterns using computer-aided design (CAD) software or drafting instruments.
  • Material Estimation: Estimate the amount of fabric required to produce a product, minimizing waste and optimizing material usage.
  • Pattern Marking: Mark size, identification, style, and sewing instructions on sample patterns, ensuring clarity and precision.
  • Pattern Development: Outline parts of patterns on paper and mark patterns to indicate details such as pocket placement, pleats, decorative stitching, or eyelets.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in garment patternmaking or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
