Position Overview:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in the daily functions of our pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing prescription refills and entering patient information into our systems.
  • Collaborating with the Member Contact Centre to address member inquiries and requests.
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately manage prescription processing, including third-party adjudication.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers for prescription renewals.
  • Document all interactions meticulously to ensure quality service.
  • Assist in managing tasks and projects to improve operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with fellow technicians and advisors to share best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in Ontario.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and claims processing.
  • Proficiency in Kroll software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.
