Construction Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated General Labourer to join our team at La Crete RONA Building Center. This role involves a variety of tasks that support our operations and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Material Handling: Check and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy.
- Sorting and Packaging: Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products for distribution.
- Assistance: Provide support to machine operators, assemblers, and other team members.
- General Labouring: Perform various labouring and elemental activities as required.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness of machines and immediate work areas.
- Assembly: Assemble small and large household electrical appliances as needed.
Please note that public transportation is not available for this position.
Work EnvironmentThe ideal candidate should be able to:
- Work independently and efficiently.
- Handle repetitive tasks with precision.
- Manage heavy loads, up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Stand for extended periods and engage in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Tools: Steel-toed safety boots are required.
- Personal Qualities: Punctuality, dependability, reliability, and being a team player are essential.
- Experience: No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.
This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The working language is English.
