Job Summary

ZAPG FASTWAY COURIER SERVICES INC. is seeking a reliable and skilled Parcel Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up packages, operating company vehicles, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up Packages: Safely transport packages to customers and pick up packages from various locations.
  • Operate Company Vehicles: Drive company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Record Trip Information: Accurately record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered during delivery.
  • Perform Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G driver's licence to operate company vehicles.
  • Criminal Record Check: Pass a criminal record check to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit to perform the demands of the job, including walking and lifting packages up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Steel-Toed Safety Boots: Wear steel-toed safety boots to ensure safety while on the job.
  • Cellular Phone: Possess a cellular phone to stay connected with the team and respond to customer inquiries.
Working Conditions

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of packages.
