Role Summary
Air Canada is actively seeking Customer Experience Specialists to enhance our operations at the Ottawa Airport. In this customer-centric role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all flights are prepared for secure and timely departures by assisting passengers at various airport locations.

Daily Responsibilities
As a Customer Experience Specialist at the Ottawa airport, you will be an integral member of a dynamic and diverse team representing Air Canada. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating customer check-in and issuing boarding passes
- Assisting pre-boarding customers and providing information regarding flight schedules and routes
- Supporting customers requiring special assistance throughout their journey, ensuring their timely and safe transport to gates or baggage claims
- Maintaining active movement throughout the airport to attend to designated work areas

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Availability to complete a five (5) to seven (7) week full-time paid training program
- Willingness to work rotating shifts over a 24-hour period, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods
- Capability to lift, push, and pull, and assist customers with reduced mobility
- Ability to work within strict timelines to maintain on-time performance
- Adherence to Air Canada's attendance and grooming standards
- Previous experience in customer service with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills aligned with guidelines and policies
- Safety and security conscious
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary transportation security clearances and authorizations.
Linguistic Proficiency
Priority will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and French. However, strong consideration will also be given to candidates fluent in English and one or more of the following languages: Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, German, Arabic, Hebrew, Portuguese, Greek, Hindi, Punjabi.
