Position Summary:

Startec Compression & Process is in search of a Yard Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will thrive in a rapidly changing environment and will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring efficient yard operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage materials to support production activities
  • Ensure the yard is kept clean and orderly
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials safely
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and manage snow removal as necessary

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of steel fabrication and relevant terminology
  • Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license
  • Ability to operate various types of machinery proficiently
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, as well as alcohol and drug testing
