Materials Logistics Coordinator

At Kiewit Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Materials Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will play a critical role in managing and controlling construction materials at our jobsites.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective material control plans to ensure timely and efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of project materials.
- Collaborate with construction staff to identify and resolve material-related issues and optimize material handling processes.
- Assist in the completion of project mobilization and demobilization efforts, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Prepare and distribute material management reports to project staff, providing critical insights into material usage and trends.
- Represent the company in logistical negotiations and coordination with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Track and coordinate OSD&E resolution, ensuring compliance with project requirements and company policies.
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial construction-related roles.
- Proven ability to manage and maintain advanced material handling software and databases.
- Working knowledge of site purchasing, execution, estimating, and their impact on material management.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to coordinate and lead small crews for safe material handling activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in teams and with stakeholders.
