Job Summary:

Bouchier is seeking a skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Install new equipment and components
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing on HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Handle and recover refrigerants safely
  • Test and repair electrical components
  • Provide training and mentorship to apprentices
Requirements:
  • Valid Red Seal Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certification
  • Class B Gas Ticket or A Ticket considered an asset
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a ticketed journeyman preferred
  • Previous oil sands site experience an asset
  • ODS HRAI Certification
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Clean 5-year Driver's Abstract Required
  • CSTS and OSSA Regional Orientation, OSSA BSO or CSO
  • Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Good coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to troubleshoot and rectify operational problems
  • Good physical strength and stamina
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with co-workers, contractors, and clients
