Our agency is currently in search of enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to fill the role of Insurance Account Representative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell auto and property insurance products to individual and business clients to achieve agency objectives.
- Conduct personalized assessments to determine client needs.
- Offer tailored insurance advice and solutions based on client requirements, ensuring appropriate premium charges relative to risks.
- Focus on fulfilling the needs of the personal market with the complete range of Desjardins Insurance auto and property products.
- Calculate premiums and establish suitable payment methods.
- Deliver and clarify policy details to policyholders, analyzing insurance programs and recommending necessary adjustments or beneficiary changes.
- Ensure compliance with policy requirements, including vehicle inspections and the completion of necessary documentation.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Compassionate and empathetic.
- Accountable and responsible.
- Possession of an OTL license (must pass the exam prior to employment).
- Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese is required.
Compensation Package:
- Base salary: $50,000
- Commission structure
- Year-end bonus
- Life and living benefits up to $200/month following probation
- Paid vacation time
- Health insurance plan
This position is with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network. The employees of this agent are not employees of Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. Independent contractor agents are responsible for all employment decisions regarding their staff.
