Job Description

Job Title: Director of Slot Operations

Job Summary:

Dietzel International is seeking an experienced Director of Slot Operations to oversee the strategic direction and operations of the Electronic Gaming Devices (EGD) department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gaming operations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement revenue-generating strategies to increase coin-in and average win-per-unit growth
  • Design and evolve the EGD floor and overall product mix to optimize player engagement and revenue
  • Collaborate with the EGD Director and VP of Gaming to develop and implement operational strategies to deliver and exceed target expectations
  • Supervise and control all strategic aspects of the EGD department, including team management and mentorship
  • Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and fraud prevention measures
  • Monitor and analyze machine performance, floor layout, and player acquisition strategies to inform business decisions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in an EGD Management role at a property with a minimum of 400 machines
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Displays a high level of maturity and discretion in dealing with confidential matters
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of gaming regulations and fraud prevention measures
  • Thorough knowledge of casino general policies and regulations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong mathematical skills
