Position Overview

The role of a Construction Inspector involves critical evaluation and oversight of construction projects to ensure adherence to established standards and regulations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze architectural plans, drawings, and site layouts.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of building and engineering projects.
  • Verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and building codes.
  • Enforce regulations related to steel and concrete installations.
  • Assess and report on the condition of newly constructed or resale properties.
Inspection Scope
  • Conduct inspections on both new and existing structures.
