Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Indian Sweet Master Waterloo. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fine dining establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Leadership: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, and supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with a requirement for attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
