Pipeline Field Operator Job Description

Roska DBO Inc. is seeking a skilled Pipeline Field Operator to join our team in the Fort St John area. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our pipeline systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain pipeline equipment and Company assets in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.
  • Perform metering integrity checks and ensure accurate measurement of custody transfer and integrity LVP and HVP meters.
  • Assist with meter prover water draws and perform operational duties on both LVP and HVP products.
  • Maintain clean pipelines by launching and receiving pipeline pigs.
  • Perform sampling of all products and test density, temperature, BS&W, and RVP as required.
  • Ensure facilities and pipeline equipment are maintained to Corporate standard.
  • Perform truck unloading duties and support the truck terminal operating within existing company standards.
  • Participate in and perform duties required in compliance with Corporate SES standards, regulatory requirements, and industry accepted best practices.
  • Train and respond to emergency response needs as required by the company or regulatory agencies.
  • Support and participate in Community Engagement activities.
Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 – 5 years related experience, preferably with crude oil, condensate, and NGL liquids.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and other business-related computer programs and applications.
  • Motivated self-starter with positive attitude.
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Required safety tickets (First Aid, H2S Alive, etc.).
  • Capable of passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
  • Full class 5 driver license.
