Kitchen Operations Manager

Mika's Kitchen Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent service.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that kitchen operations are running within budget.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- 5-10 years of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
